The lovely lakes, hills and waterfalls, so typical of this region, are within easy reach, and Switzerland too, is a must for a day trip. Our property, formerly the bakehouse, is in a tiny rural hamlet just 2 km from Arbois. It is an independent part of a large farmhouse which comprises the very kindly owners house and another letting property. With its own entrance, it has spacious, partly wooded grounds, and a nice little covered patio. Inside, it is compact but very well equipped and immaculately maintained. Ground floor: kitchen/sitting/dining room with small wood burning stove; separate WC. 1st floor: double bed on mezzanine leading through to very small twin bedroom (80cm beds); bathroom (bath with shower over, basin, washing machine/dryer).
