The spectacular Gulf coast beaches of Englewood, Gasparilla and Boca Grande are within 15 – 20 minutes drive.
FISHING
This area is reportedly has some of the best fishing in the world; at Lemon Bay, Charlotte Harbour and the Gulf of Mexico. Boca Grande is said to be the "Tarpon Fishing Capital of the World," and fishermen around the globe drop in to the "World's Richest Tarpon Tournament," held early summer.
