The beautiful 13C cathedral in Narbonne is certainly worth a visit and there are a multitude of churches and historic sites- Roman remains in Nimes, the famous Pont du Gard; and stunning gorges, grottoes and canyons. The magnificent vineyards of the Minervois and Corbi�res, where the patrons of a hundred different caves eagerly await your appreciation of their wines, surround us. The markets in every town are a feast for the senses and the traditional market in S�rignan is held on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. There are stunning displays of fruit & veg, a huge olive stall, mountains of cheeses and saucissons. There are stalls of clothes, pottery, leather goods, jewellery and a bar under the plane trees to recharge your batteries when you get that weary feeling, but haven't quite seen EVERY stall......
