Bamboo's Hall was named for it's original site as a bamboo thicket with no view of the surrounding area. Mr. Jack, our landscaper and a well-known eco-forester, has cleared the land and is bringing back the natural flora and fauna of Tobago to this beautiful setting overlooking little Englishman's Bay and the Caribbean. The villa is perfect for the honeymooners who are seeking beauty and privacy and also for the naturalists who want to see the natural wildlife of Tobago. Mr. Jack grows a variety of plants organically and leads tours of the nature preserves on the island. We regularly see agoti and numerous species of wild birds. One of the most spectacular features of this location is the beautiful view of the Sunset. When atmospheric conditions are just right, this is the place to watch for the 'green flash'.
The property is only a short distance from the beach but it is about a 1 mile walk or drive along the roads that wind through Englishman's Bay Estate. We have not yet built a footpath that is easily traversed to the beach. Englishman's Bay has been rated as one of the top ten beaches in the world and is a place you must visit. The 'three sisters' are a set of rocks can be seen from the patio and add to beauty of the beach.
